1st Attack
Description: This piece is about Snip doing experiments where she ended up consuming the Butterfly Potion and gained butterfly attributes. Of course, since this form was achieved through Fleshomancy. The newly gained parts are fueled by blood and muscle.
Personal Notes: The first piece to begin ArtFight is simply Bloody Beautiful. I gave Skelenby's OC (Snip) some pretty butterfly wings. Since they're a Fleshomancer; I decided to give the wings some flowy feel similar to blood as well as eyes to show off the darkness and biological elements of the magic. I took some time reading their lore out and I do find it fascinating. I do hope I get chances to read more lore of their world and OCs in the near future. What I got from the lore is that Snip over here does their lab work in a barn. Barns are already red so I don't have to worry about making some bits bloody but I also tried to put some marks of it being a laboratory. Hence explaining the burn mark on the top left corner. I added a few things on the side so that it actually feels like a lab like a box, a flask, and some flowers to give the place some whimsy. Another reason why I gave them butterfly wings is that apparently I can draw them as a cat or a bug. I decided to fuse them together in my own sense of Fleshomancy. Orignally, I was gonna put them on a CatBug Costume but I dropped the idea cause that sounds copyrighted and It's not too cool as the BloodyFly Wings. I would've animated this if I knew how to animate the squirmy flowy effect I wanted. I also tried doing a unique rendering process and it definitely isn't a thing I should use a lot but at least it turned out fine with this piece. The process I use involves hard edges for the burn and addition layer while I use smooth edges on color dodge and multiply layers. I wanted to draw the dogs as well but I didn't cause I'm not confident on how good it looks with the current style and they might end up lookin' like dog-shaped blobs. You might've noticed that they have a Neocities. My secondary goal for ArtFight as to attack most peeps I found from the Indie Web. I personally believe that peeps who live in the Indie Web deserves a lot of love as well and I'd like to share my love for the Indie Web as well. Skelenby is one of the peeps I found and It was definitely a pleasure to start my battles against someone who lives in the same internet space as I do.
2nd Attack
Description: This piece is about Zoo Wee and Star traveling in the nerd dimension where everything nerdy is there, however, the part they're traveling to is the most desolate area known to the denizens. They hop across floating cloud trees to get across the vast Binary Sea to seek a legendary icon of nerdy power, Tux, the Linux Penguin. This scene is where they take a break once they found the legend themselves. It appears the penguin is on a quest to reach the ominous dark beacon and it's a mystery on why they seem to approach the thing.
Personal Notes: Took my time with this one and I definitely made it a bit too challenging for me. They have chibi proportions from their references and I don't know why I put them in one of the difficult angles people draw peeps on. I also wanted to stick to my artstyle cause I wanna keep my eye for anatomy good so that I could keep up with the future pieces. Designing the world is by far the hardest in this piece. It's not easy coming up with worldbuilding; let alone drawing that world from scratch. Everything's worth it tho; I got all the experience with artistic worldbuilding and my anatomy skills enhanced. I captured their form and figures well and designing the Binary Sea and its landscape is simply lovely. Mentally, since I like these characters and I find them cute. I wanted Ray to send them to the 'Nerd Dimension'. which explains why I put them into this world. Since this is a Tech-Core World; I gotta put the linux penguin man. You know how much I love Linux. There's no doubt that I'd be putting them in there. Plus, I just recently played Deltarune and that basically lead to me adding a dark fountain into this world too. The brainrot is legit, REAL.
World Breakdown: The leaves of the electrical are made of steam and the trees are basically copper wires and as they get older a protective shell grows out of them which is made of rubber. The steam is formed from the reaction of exposed copper and the atmosphere of the world. The Binary Sea is simply a pitch black sea with bright green matrix highlights of ones and zeroes. This world is only accessible through digital means by manipulating a body/model through a computer. In this case, Star and Zoo Wee are already beings from the digital world which enables them to traverse the landscape with no limitations. The only thing that poses itself to be dangerous is the rough waves of the sea and the bugs that linger in its depths. Legendary beings come around and visit to travel to another world to spread their influence. Specificially beings like Tux the Penguin.
3rd Attack
Description: This piece is about bluby, nessie, and cery having a picnic together. They feast as they watch the giant birds that blast through the skies. It was a good day for bird watching too for the sun doesn't blaze their skin. The fauna enjoying their presence and eats together with them. Of course, there is some fascinating flora on the sides that makes the view much more pleasant.
Personal Notes: After doing cloverstar's piece; I moved on to an easier set of OCs to work with. I found the perfect OCs for the job and comfort. I found candycaneeater in my Indie Web Adventures and I simply wanted to attack them when I discovered that they have an ArtFight profile. I'm glad that I found them cause I like these little slime peeps. They're cute, adorable, and I can make something nice and whimsical. I thought of the Picnic Mini-Game of Pokemon as the perfect scene for them. Especially based upon reading their lore; they have a lot of inspirations from Pokemon. I added a silly thing in the mix cause I want them to do some bird-watching. The best bird I came up with is Valstrax from Monster Hunter. I only through the silhouette though but I added a tortoise for increased cuteness factors. One thing I wanna do for next year's ArtFight is to add a simple-shaped creature. Candycaneeater got their revenge but I feel like they got nerfed. I do adore the piece they gave me. I think it's kinda unfair that I drew a simple-shade character and most of my roster is like full-on humans. They mentioned that they do struggle with drawing humans which makes sense and I do have OCs on my mind who are simple-shaped. Take for example: the mascot of my dear website, Banana Dolphin. I'd love to think Ray owns these in an aquarium or two and puts them back in their worlds once they healed up or something. Anyways, I wanna make things fair by adding a few creatures and their Reference Sheets cause I wanna make it fun for peeps to draw my OCs as well as having a feeling of comfort when selecting through my roster.
4th Attack
Description: This piece is Shrimp sleeping. They had a long day playing around in the ocean and they take a nice nap to rest and gain more energy to play more.
Personal Notes: Alrighty, I wanted to do something cozy, peaceful, and really nice for this chracter. The illustration of Shinkai Shoujo(Deep Sea Girl) by Hatsune Miku is definitely my main inspiration to create this piece. I wanted to fill in the void cause I don't want this scene to be barren and empty so I added the classic fauna and flora with some shadows of entities to go with it. I gave her a teddy bear too to make it comfy and cute as well. Overall, it's a chill idea that looked pretty fire in the end. I don't have much lore to work with and just followed my whims here and there. Plus there's my knowledge of Finding Nemo. Love that movie
5th Attack
Description: This piece is about Adoris and how they create worlds. They focus hard on an idea and use their powers to create a world. In order for the world to be made without alternating the current world they reside in. They contain the world inside a terraforming orb. That's where the concentrate and pour all their ideas into one place and once Adoris is finished. They will proceed to travel the cosmos and crack the orb open to unleash the new world into the vast emptiness of space. Filling the unused space with life and wonder.
Personal Note: I found Adoris through twitch and I've been meaning to fight that little Cat of hers for a while. I used my headcanon of how Raye could create the Terraforming Orb. It's simply a ball that contains a tiny Solar System inside. Once Shattered: habitable planets form, a part of the universe gets repelled to make space for the new system, a new star will take place as the sun for that system, a lot of loredumpy jazz I have to think of for my storybuilding. I've written stories of people making their own world with that Orb and it's mainly associated with people creating worlds in Minecraft. Since Adoris is a fantasy artist; I think it fits for them to have a Worldbuilding Orb as well and they use their imagination to conjure them. This piece is definitely inspired off the pondering the orb meme too but I want an angle where it shows the throne room and the effects better.
6th Attack
Description: This piece is about Alee unleashing one of the most powerful star spells known through dimensions to stop a giant asteroid from colliding with a planet. Endless amount of stars shred through the debris; turning them back into atoms. Saving another planet in the process as well.
Personal Notes: Well, this clown is a space clown I found on the Indie Web. No doubt about that. I simply wanted to draw something cute and nostalgia core (nostalgic for me at least). I gave them the kirby surf-board and I added a few stars behind them so that it looks like they're casting Peta Star. One of the strongest star spells of Disgaea 2 from what I know. The kirby surf-star idea was originally inspired by a sticker of EB Nova surfing on top of a UFO. I focused more on the star aspects so I used Kirby's Surf Star instead. I also don't want a boring sparkly space background so I added a planet in there so that they also look cool saving a planet to go with it.
7th Attack
Description: This piece is about T unleashing their full power and they cast a flurry of magic spells to fight. The cold air of the snowy mountains also aid in his combat for it makes their casting stronger and faster.
Personal Note: Blue Bird = Undertale/Deltarune. That's where my brain immediately went. Usually it's Mordecai from Regular Show(Wiki Page), but my brain said otherwise. I also noticed that their scaleras burn like fire as a stylish nod to their rage. That made me think of that silly gene from Chaos Rings 3. Specifically the illustration of Peter Pan or Sans Pandertale as my friend Dart calls it. This results with me using the Sans Pandertale Gene as reference as well as battle elements of Martlet's Fight in Undertale Yellow. This was fun and I had a good nostalgia run with Undertale Yellow as I go along with this piece
8th Attack
Description: This piece is about Pancake and Blobby having fun and dancing around in the Flower Fields of Pink and Gold.
Personal Note: This is where my Undertale/Deltarune brainrot took control of me. The initial idea was for them to prance at the Flower Fields to pay homage for my first stranger attack. I remembered this cute animation of Kris and Ralsei spinning together and this served as the best scene for this duo. I was planning to draw Pancake for a while and I'm glad to deliver this piece to them. I do gotta say. I tried to keep it lineless and color blocked my way through this cause the first stranger attack I did was the same way. The flowers were originally gonna be dots on the ground but I find that really lazy and that makes me feel unsatisfied. So I drew flowers dedicated to Undertale instead and the whole sunset is from Undertale. This piece is just sprinkled with Undertale/Deltarune References everywhere. However, despite the brainrot, I still delivered a piece that looks good and whimsical.
9th Attack
Description: This piece is about Boo trying to draw with a knife as they get comfy in their pillow fort. They 'borrowed' some paint from their friends and used it for practicing on how to draw. A knife isn't actually the best brush but it does the job of creating strokes. They struggled but the more they do art; The more they get better.
Personal Note: Originally, I was gonna draw a different OC but I think they got archived. Instead, I chose adorable Boo over here. So, the artist says that I could draw them with a knife, drawing, or with in a pile of blankets or plushies. I decided to do all of them by wrapping Boo in a blanket as a they draw with a knife. I did miss the opportunity to draw Slime Boo as a scrapped/finished drawing on the side. Just remembered that part when I submitted the attack. I loved how it turned out despite the chaos cause it's still whimsical and cozy. I do hope Boo gets a lot of friends and may their art career flourish.
10th Attack
Description: This piece is about Bot at its peak form. Where their body evolved and stretched to a monstrous degree to be more efficient on hunting its prey.
Personal Note: I went brain empty go auto for this one. I do have references but they didn't really form the image I have in mind. I wanna channel the essences of absolute darkness and seeing the creature beyond the abyss. Once you meet its gaze; it would never let go of yours. I also gave them longer and fucked up proportions to increase the horror vibes. I bet the fact that you can't tell how tall he is or how close he is makes it really fun to look at. I might draw more pieces like these in the future and my mandatory bloody piece is now achieved for ArtFight.
11th Attack
Description: This piece is about Azalea stumbling upon a Dark World from Deltarune. They're up for a journey ahead for a new chapter begins in their life.
Personal Note: Another instance of my Deltarune brain taking over. To be fair, Azalea here loves the games too so it makes sense for me to indulge with a bit of Deltarune Brainrot. It is a challenge for me though cause I had to keep it close to the world its inspired off. This dark would in particular with that part of the game. I still wanna keep things spoiler free but you'll see when you get there. They also don't have art of their Dark World Form and not a lot of Human OCs have a Dark World Form so references are scarce. The whole idol-core vibes is definitely inspired off the whole Hololive Idol idea. I had to tone down the crazy intricacies cause Idol dresses are intricate and I wanna make them look chill. I got inspired from the Echo Flower for the Staff too so that's great. However, I made her pink cause since Kris is Cyan in the Dark World and they're pretty Pink-Core. They didn't mind the pink at least so that's wonderful. The reason why they wear a bee outfit is cause of their Bee Pin based on their original design. If you look closely the Fun Gang is also at the back somewhere.
12th Attack
Description: This piece is Kazumi's doing her DJ Set. It's Raving time.
Personal Note: (Dam dadi doo dam dam didoodi dam) That song is stuck on my head when I'm drawing this piece. Once I discovered Kazumi's a DJ; all the S3RL songs just hits me all at once and started listening to a S3RL compilation along with nightcore. I gotta say that this piece more heavy on 2000's Frutiger Aero vibes than 60/70's but I hope it still nails the DJ Vibe. I took Inspiration from that one popular nightcore video of Dam Dadi Doo specifically the thumbnail and I wanted to change it up to make it look more energetic. I tried to make them look like they're jumping to the beat. The only thing that gets me weirded out for this piece is the angle. I might consider doing a rematch once I get a better eye at perspective but I'm glad it looks decent and the artist likes the piece which makes me happy.
13th Attack
Description: This piece is about Godhate checking out the books from the biggest library she has ever seen. The Library of Candelabrea is known to be the center of all candle knowledge known in the universe. Of course, one who seeks ancient knowledge will be very pleased to explore this place.
Personal Note: This one; I really like this piece as well. I find miss Lillipede to be adorable and I came up with a lot of ideas especially with regards to the aesthetics of Dark Academia. I figured that the stairs going up the library would be composed of book shelves too cause that sounds cool (not sure on stable tho). I was looping Ghost's Mary on a Cross while drawing this piece as well and it really fits cause drawing the mural and all of the candles really sets the Gothic feel of the room. The stained glass behind her is supposed to be a mural depicting The Endsinger from Final Fantasy 14 (Spoilers Ahead for Final Fantasy XIV - Endwalker). My Final Fantasy brainrot is kicking in after Dart showed me the story of Endwalker. In the middle of drawing this piece; I had a hellish time figuring out the gradient map and just decided to use a colorize filter instead. I wanna change the colors of the candles and make it easier time for myself but the gradient maps requires more experience to use with ease.
14th Attack
Description: This piece is about Mimi dragging a giant carrot to the cauldron to feed a bunch of families or two.
Personal Note: I always love the trope of small entities wielding a giant object. Since they're a rabbit; of course, I'd give them a carrot but I want to make it seem like they're wielding a greatsword and putting it on dinner. This piece is definitely inspired off the Monster Hunter Cafeteria scenes. I always adore watching those scenes but I wish there's more references or a compilation of the Cafeteria scenes. Youtube is not so helpful anymore and the Wikis needs more archiving with the small details of the game.
15th Attack
Description: This piece is about Squeak riding their mighty steed: Toast. They're at their full battle form ready to take on whoever opposes the mighty Squeak.
Personal Note: So I also went brain empty and went with my dracula flow with this one. I'm aware that Toast immobile and I'd like to imagine that Squeak is just sitting on top of Toast and having fun together. This doesn't have anything inspiring. Just the cool thought of a knight and their steed was enough conjure this awesome piece.
16th Attack
Description: This piece is about Mandy going home from work or a gig and wants a nice meal. Mandy notices Gerald picking on leftovers and they sat together. Mandy shares a fry or two with Gerald. Gerald will be so pleased to received such a bountiful harvest to give away to their family.
Personal Note: I love rock/metal so much and anyone with a emo or goth aesthetic tends to be my go to. I also find Gerald cute too so I decided to draw both of them and thinking of a likely scenario of them meeting wasn't too hard at least. The hard part is the anatomy where drawing someone sitting kinda messed me up but I carried on and produced this. I wonder if this also gives off Gravity Falls vibes cause this piece gives off that aura I liked from Gravity Falls. Orignally, I wanted Mandy to look more tired and with their make up a bit messy cause they had a tiring band day. I decided for a more casual approach.
17th Attack
Description: This scene is about Rio, surprised to see the computer they repaired come back to life. What's more surprising is that it manifested a body of a penguin on its own. Dealing with the Unknown; Rio prepares themselves for a trial of combat or a trial of social interaction.
Personal Note: So, last year, I drew Rio getting a head pat. Honestly, I was pretty unsatisfied so I suppose rematch is at hand. Since I became aware that Rio loves tech and my love for Linux knows no bounds. I combined the two to create Mr. Chicken Tenders. I combined Final Fantasy 14's Omega, The Mascot of Linux: Tux, and, of course, the Regi Pokemon. Mr. Chicken Tenders is pretty friendly and will make some computer magic happen. I hope Rio likes Mr. Chicken Tenders. The composition is also inspired off the Gen 3 Battle Overlay so that's fun and great. I put a few things at the back and the green guy on that poster is supposed to be a Onceler reference.
18th Attack
Description: This piece is about Diz exploring a strange world where soil is made of bread, water's replaced with veggie juice, giant broccoli replaced trees, and shrooms growing around the area.
Personal Notes: Funny, Diz is definitely quite a fancy OC and I dig fancy designs. I was thinking of what to do with them until I see that they like mushrooms, bread, and veggies. That gave me the grand idea of sending them to this dimension. This world has the bread as soil, broccoli as trees, and shrooms as flowers. Water's also made of veggie juice. Nothing piece I did in brain-empty mode but I love the whimsical nature of it. I do gotta say that I've been drawing a lot of peeps looking up and I don't know why all of them are lookin' up for somethin'. I did use another Chaos Rings 3 Gene Card as well as reference so that's that.
19th Attack
Description: This piece is simply about Rin having a butterfly land at his nose inside their room. He is simply astonished about that fact and surprised that a butterfly would actually land on his nose.
Personal Note: Quite the details on him but I had a fun time drawin' em and I find it cute that they love the butter of flies. I'd find it funny for a butterfly to boop Rin's nose. Rin no longer needs to chase em but what do they do now that the butterfly is caught? That question would probably be left for the artist to answer. It's originally gonna be composed like a Tarot Card but I found the angle of the view to be weird. I only remembered that one vid I saw but cannot find. It was a video about a butterfly on top of a cat's muzzle and it's so cute.
20th Attack
Description: This piece is about Awberry showing off a new dance they learned from the lands of Poland to their friend Aquapunk.
Personal Note: Alrighty, I just learned animation last month so I hope things are not too janky but I wanted to put my skills to the test. I find that making Awberry do the Polish Cow Dance would be a great test as well as a cute piece to animate. I wanted to draw Aquapunk for a while too so I wanted to add them in there to witness such a dance. Honestly, this was a bit hellish and a fitting boss fight for my Easy Round of ArtFight before I transition to Moderate round. I learned the harshness of coloring your animations and rendering them and my respect for animators have increased. My growth as an artist has made me proud of abilities. I never seen the day where I'd actually animate things frame by frame.
21st Attack
Description: This piece is about Lena reuniting with Calista in her dreams.
Personal Note: I like to draw wholesome pieces for Lesbian couples from time to time and I chose them to be the couple of the year for my piece. This made me realize that I have a mandatory doomed yuri attack every ArtFight and it surprised me. I swear this isn't a thing. The first doomed yuri piece I made just became doomed yuri after my homie gave the lore. I'll talk about it more once I code it the July 2025 Art Archive. Anyways, I wasn't satisfied with relying on the description so I took my time reading through the entire story of Lament Circuit (Artist's Story of these goobers). After reading the story, I got really sad and the whole feel is so bittersweet. I'm drawing right next to a ninja cutting onions but I have to keep my eyes clear to keep drawing so I can't cry. It's not bad, in fact, I'm lookin' forward for more cause the Artist is planning to revise it and I'm curious on how. With the story in mind and with the couple having more context. I'm dedicated to provide one hell of a piece I could come up with. It's quite the emotional roller coaster drawing this piece with the lore replaying on my mind as I listen to the whimsical songs of animal crossing. I wish them the best on writing and arting. I enjoyed my time reading through the story and I hope this piece captures the vibe of their relationship. I'd read more stories they made but I do hope I get more spare time in the coming future. One more thing I forgot to mention. I used the movie poster of Your Name and I thought the characters just exploded in the end and using it as reference would bring more spice to the table. It did bring this pretty feel to the piece but I should definitely watch Your Name cause I swear I was gaslit to beliving that everyone exploded in the end.
22nd Attack
Description: This piece is about Athena. She is sitting on the hillside on her lonesome. Staring at the sky and feeling the breeze. Letting their hair flow with the wind and have this moment of peace.
Personal Note: I grabbed the most Midwest Emo scene and aesthetic and I'm definitely hearing the guitars on this one. I was listening to a bit of midwest emo as I draw and the most prominent one that plays on my head is a cover of Porter Robinson's Cheerleader. By the most prominent one, I mean the only one I listend to. I tried to make it very dark to match that grungy emo vibe while making Athena brighter so that the darkness doesn't overpower her presence. I was planning to do another Midwest Emo piece but I withdrew cause one of them involves a car and I'm not fond of drawing cars. Originally, I wanted to make them do a cool domain expansion move of how they break down perspective in terms of drawing. However, I feel like that's way above my skill level and I might do that another time.
23rd Attack
Description: This piece is about the aftermath of Salem winning an E-Sports Tournament. It was intense and Salem had to come in clutch in the end. Once, they realize that they were the victory. They popped the cap off a salt shaker and threw it on the ground. With the snap of their finger; the salt erupted into a molten sludge to highlight their form as they revel in glory.
Personal Note: This was a very fun piece. I really like Salem as I find goat-core OCs great and they're cute. It was tricky to come up with a scene for them but then I was watching a vid about Metal memes and found a pose of a guy demanding for a mosh pit to be open. That's pretty much how I managed to get the piece conjured and it was fun doing all the effects and the posing. I definitely got inspiration from Undertale Yellow again with the molten salt volcano beam. I did have trouble with coming up a scene for Salem. I was planning to draw them since 2025 and I can't think of a good scene. I just know that the piece needs salt and being mischievous. I'm glad to conjure the molten salt scene in the end cause it looks awesome.
24th Attack
Description: This piece is about Bonnie ready to fight against a powerful evil monster. Ready to fight within the confines of this Cyberpunk City to overcome the opponent.
Personal Note: Drawing this. I'm glad I captured the look of the Kill Bill poster which means that my arting skills are Improving, ya hooooooo. This was fun, I finally managed to create a scene on a city and I'm happy with that cause I struggle with cities more than forest scenes. Bonnie is straight up cute and pretty alluring to say the least. There's no doubt that I'd be picking them for a Cyberpunk aesthetic piece. I did have trouble coming up with a pose since I want them to look cool and all but I settled with using the Kill Bill poster as reference despite not watching Kill Bill yet. I tried giving it the grainy effect to replicate the feel of traditional for Bonnie and I hope the texture work nails that feel. The artist mostly does traditional art so that's what inspired the grainy vibe. One thing that's on my mind throughout this piece is Ken Ashcorp's Absolute Territory song and the SFM animation of Pootis Engage //Extreme. Pootis Engage is just so cool and the absolute territory is such a fitting anime opening song to listen to.
25th Attack
Description: This piece is about Vivi showing off an awesome outfit she got from a fashion show. A prolific tailor visited the town they reside in and was chosen to walk the runway for their fashion show. As a reward, she keeps the outfit if she agrees to walk.
Personal Note: I want things to me fabulous for this round. Vivi's cute and I do like the pastel core look they have. Knowing that she's a fan of pastel goth fashion; there's no doubt I'd give them an outfit that's made of pastels and goth. However, the scene is the one that got me thinkin'. "What situation would Vivi wearing this outfit make sense?" Unfortunately, I got caught up in my interests with fashion. (I blame Devil wears Prada for that one) I decided to put them on a runway and make em look fabulous and cool. I think this outfit leans heavy on vampiric goth personally but the skull icon and the cardigan definitely balanced the intensity to make it match the vibes of Pastel Goth. I was head banging to the tunes of Lady Gaga as well so that's lovely. I love designing clothes personally. In fact, that's my favorite part whenever I design my OCs cause they usually look plain and simple but they become more unique with my personally designed outfits.
26th Attack
Description: This piece is about Accelera casting Quartz Duster to display their magical power. Quartz Duster is enough to freeze things around the area. When the frozen object is destroyed; the shattered pieces fly away. It's power is enough to turn trees into dust and stones into mere pebbles.
I like Accelera and I really love the fact that she could do both Ice and wind magic. Her design gives me strong Final Fantasy Vibes and that got me the idea to make her cast Shiva's Diamond Dust (specifically the Final Fantasy XIV version). I am not sure if it's lore accurate for her to cast something this strong but It's a fun thought to display. I also added some design bits on her design to make her more powered up when she cast the spell. Originally, I wanna put her in an elevator and make her do the "let's take ibuprofen together" meme. However, that's not cool enough and I have plenty of Final Fantasy Brainrot to spare with people. I'm also inspired by Dartole's Art and his pieces of Displays of Power.
27th Attack
Description: This piece is Aya walking around the city and found someone she likes to give a high five.
Personal Note: When I read her lore, Aya is like me, frfr (Personality Wise). That lead to me liking this character a lot but then I wonder what scene would fit her. So, originally, I took inspiration on that one scene from Well of Ascension (Mistborn - Book 2) by Brandon Sanderson where one of the characters started to wear gowns again. However, the specific scene I imagined was the aftermath of the battle she had there's blood all over her. I decided to make the piece I imagined less bloody and used it and so far I like this red rosy gown I designed. I do gotta say that my perspective work could've been better on this one but I suppose I'll improve another time. I really wanna do Aya justice more so maybe I'll do a rematch next year.
28th Attack
Description: This piece is Maia going home to rest and relax after a casual day.
Personal Note: Maia seems sweet and the Portal Power sounds like a lot of fun. This scene and piece is inspired off the first sonic live action movie poster (specifically the updated one). I wanna take things chill for this piece so I made this one scene with them using her portal powers in action.
29th Attack
Description: This piece is Charlotte trying to cast a pretty powerful light spell. This spell simply absorbs light around the area which dims the place a bit. Once the spell is finished being cast; it goes boom and gives everything a flash bang excluding the caster.
Personal Note: Charlotte is pretty cool and I wanted to draw them in a way where they're displaying their power by casting a spell. I got inspiration with Chaos Rings 3 and its specific spell called Aquinas. It basically has the same function where a small ball explodes into a big blast zone of light but it doesn't absorb the light around the area to function. Orignally, I wanna animate this as if they're trying to cast it but I'm starting to get tired and sick up to this point so I had to take it easy. I forgot to mention that I think they're the last target of my Indie Web attacking spree and yippie personal goal achieved.
30th Attack
Description: This piece is simply Mortimer saying Hi
Personal Note: Well, since I learned how to animate lately and my activities involved a lot of Indie Web exploring. Checking on their profile; I definitely had the idea to create another 88x31 button again. This time it's themed around Mortimer. I think it's cute for Mortimer and I feel like it's a nice simple piece that I managed to conjure. Although it is the most experimental thing I've made in a while so it may be a bit rough. I wanted to draw Li's OCs since 2025 but I wasn't confident last year and this year I was planning for something big. Orignally, I was gonna make a full animated scene of Mortimer landing from above, looking around, seeing the camera, waving hello, phone rings and acknowleges it, waves goodbye and jumps high up to leave, and there it loops. It's very ambitious and definitely a thing I can't just do in a jiffy but I'm glad I'm satisfied with this button. I would love to do crazy animations like that in the future but I'd rather do that with my own characters for now. I gave plenty of love to other things and I should give more love to my own stuff too.
31st Attack
Description: This piece is Kim walking around a beautiful fantasy world with a cup of hot chocolate. It's chilly yet comforting. It does not make one shiver nor stiff. She wonders where the traveler went after she sent her to the castle. Despite the long hours of waiting for them to return; Kim still enjoys the view, area, and especially the hot chocolate. It's so strange that a dream like this could feel this real. It's definitely a moment to savor before she wakes up.
Personal Note: Kim has always given me Final Fantasy vibes and it's fitting that I put them in Cornelia (The area of Final Fantasy 1). I'm also biased cause she's one of my favorite OCs cause she's portrayed a lot through silly memes and shenannigans. She's also really cool as well and I vibe with her backstory. I wanted to make a meme piece before but I feel like that doesn't give her justice. I originally was planning to make them pose with their RPG outfit with an Axe similar to Marceline's Bass Axe but the rules at the time says that I can't put weapons in so I had to change it up. Now they can be put in but only as part of a pose and without murderous intent which makes sense. I'm glad Kim walking around with her hot chocolate is great. I gave it that lineless look but I tried to make it close to the style of Rococo to get that dreamy vibe. In a way, I still had a silly thing goin' cause this scene can give the vibes of that Horse on the balcony meme aka Juan. Either way, realizing now, I still captured the energy I wanted. RPG, Chill, Cool, and Memey combine in one art piece. I'm happy for that and I feel like I did Kim justice.
32nd Attack
Description: This piece is Yumeko waving hi from a Tiny Button.
Personal Note: This is supposed to be my gift for Yumeko. It's a gift for many things that accumulated over the year we met. It's for their birthday, christmas, any holiday at this point, but it's mainly a gift of appreciation. They have a strawpage and they could have some use for this once they made their spot in the Indie Web. 88x31 are used to link back and forth to other Indie Webpages. I adore the fact that they have an interest with the Indie Web. I bless this gift with the power to create more spaces to hold their joy and comfort. I would love to say once more, Thank you Yume. Thanks for bringing a comfortable place for peeps to come and hang around and welcoming them with open arms. It's always a pleasure to pay a visit every time. One day, I hope you fullfill all your animation goals and may your Web-Dev Journey begin with peace and grace.
